MHT CET 2021 exam will be held in the second week of May, and candidates who are eager to appear for this test are already preparing for the exam. However, it is better to develop a clear understanding of the MHT CET 2021 syllabus so that you don’t waste your time going through unnecessary topics, notes, and study materials. The earlier MHT CET 2021 exam was based on the entire portion of subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics of Class XI and Class XII. However, the syllabus is quite different and limited this year due to several reasons.
One of the main reasons for it is the COVID pandemic that did not allow the students to attend colleges, give exams and prepare for the various entrance tests they were keen to appear in. Like all the world’s educational and academic institutions, the COVID situation also affected the working process of Maharashtra State’s State Common Entrance Test Cell. This means that they had a limited time preparing the exam schedule for the future, and as the future of the candidates is at stake, they cannot afford to waste much time. As a result, the candidates also have a limited time to prepare for the exam.
A good news is that the candidates now need to prepare for the topics of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of Class XI and a selective portion of Class XII. This is because some portion of Class XII’s syllabus omitted by the Rajya Pathyapustak Samiti and Abhyaskram Sanshodhan Mandal has been excluded from the MHT CET 2021 exam. Therefore, the MHT CET 2021 syllabus now includes only some chapters and topics covered in Class XII.
Note: This syllabus might be applicable only for the MHT CET 2021. Therefore, apart from challenges this year’s entrance exam has also provided the comfort of studying a limited syllabus to the candidates.
